E. COMPOSITION
1. What would the most amazing room you have ever seen look like? Write a description of the room and its contents.
A well-known English proverb says, “My house is my fortress”. The most amazing room that I have ever seen would look and feel like something similar. It’d be a place where I’d feel like a King/Queen. The walls would be covered with light wallpaper so that the room feels open. A large chandelier would light up the room. I would have a huge window to let in a lot of light. Near the window, there would be a light brown colored table with a chair. On it, there would be my laptop and a couple of books and notebooks. Near the table, would be a tall, but narrow bookcase, from top to bottom filled with books. There would be a light blue couch next to the right wall, where I would relax. In my wardrobe, I’d have neatly placed a school uniform, dresses, and shoes. On the floor would lie a nice soft carpet of light color. My bed would be wooden, covered with a yellow-brown pattern and white sheets. I’d keep my room simple but elegant.

Project
Do you know of any areas or cities that are famous for their canals?
Prepare a bright, colorful promotional poster for two canal cities in the world. Make sure you include lots of pictures and information about the place, such as its history, specialty foods, famous landmarks, tourist attractions, how to get there, where to stay, and more!
How to make the poster:
1. Identify the cities you want to make posters about. You should use Google for this project.
2. Once a city is identified, gather the necessary information about it, such as history, specialty foods, famous landmarks, tourist attractions, how to get there, where to stay. You can also add other interesting facts about the city. For example, search “what is the famous food of Amsterdam?”
3. Find some pictures to go along with the gathered information.
4. Use a chart to create your poster. It will be checked once the school reopens.
